A comprehensive social media approach for Restaurant CRKL

Who is CRKL?

Restaurant CRKL is one of the standout gastronomic restaurants in Roeselare. Sam and Jolien previously operated De Witte Merel and embarked on their own story with an outstanding reputation. They constructed a completely new restaurant, embracing a contemporary concept, and named it CRKL, a nod to - as you might guess - the numerous circles in the design. The restaurant opened its doors on Diksmuidsesteenweg at the end of 2019.

The mission

CRKL engaged Kruisraket for the management of their social media presence and to establish their new brand in the market. During our two-year collaboration, we successfully put the restaurant on the online map, ensuring that the CRKL brand name remained top-of-mind.

The content creation for CRKL was always conducted with branding in mind. The style, tone-of-voice, and photography were consistent, following guidelines that are still in use today. We encouraged CRKL to share personal stories about Sam, Jolien and the staff, helping to attract nearly 1500 new followers on both Instagram and Facebook.

    Through active advertising targeting foodies and remarketing, we were able to reach potential customers. We launched campaigns around key moments such as Valentine’s Day, a new menu, lunch boxes, Corona take-away, and job vacancies, as well as Christmas and New Year’s. In 2020, this proved to be an overwhelming success, with hundreds of orders pouring in thanks to the campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.

    All conversions and reservations were measured. This way CRKL knew exactly what the cost-per-lead and ROI of all this hard work was.

    Today, the owners of the restaurant are ready to maintain their socials themselves in a quality manner.
